About Steve Viola

Steve Viola, HCL has been level 2 support for IBM Workload Scheduler for z/OS for over 20 years and has been participating in ASAP University since 2014. Prior to this time, Steve minded the shop providing technical customer support while his mentor, Cy Atkinson, led technical sessions at ASAP University. Before joining IBM in 1998, Steve was a z/OS systems programmer for 18 years. Besides handling Tivoli Workload Scheduler for z/OS and IBM Workload Scheduler for z/OS callouts, off-hours his favorite hobbies are music (piano and voice) and gardening. For 20 years Cy Atkinson, IBM L2 Support, provided a quarterly technical column entitled “Cy’s Corner”. Steve Viola continues the tradition.
